Chamber Staff
The staff of the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce is here to assist our members, local businesses as well as the general public.
The following is a brief introduction to our staff and their primary areas of responsibility.
Mr. Hardy serves as the Chief Executive and Administrative officer for the Chamber. He also serves on the Board of Directors and many other committees within the Chamber. His community and professional involvement includes the CACCE Board of Directors, Pickens County Vision 2025 Board of Directors, Clemson Rotary Club Board of Directors, JUCAB Board of Directors, and various community advisory boards. Lindsey Newton, Tourism Director
Ms. Newton provides all support to visitors in the Clemson area requesting information about our community. Lindsey's primary responsibilities are working with the Chamber's Tourism Chair and the Sports Council to identify programs and events that raise awareness about the Clemson community and what can offer for visitors to the area. She also works directly with Clemson University and the City of Clemson as we are host to many Rowing Crew teams from all over the country every Spring. Ruthie Millar, Membership Director
Ms. Millar provides all support to members while serving as the Staff liaison for the Central, Clemson and Pendleton Area Councils. She also provides support for the Chamber's Women in Business organization as well as the Chamber's member recruitment and retention efforts. Tommye Hurst – Operations & Information Specialist
Mrs. Hurst handles all Chamber needs in relation to Operations, member billing, accounts payables / receivables, payroll. Tommye also serves as the lead information source of the Chamber to phone requests and in person visits. Tommye is a long time resident of the area and comes to the Chamber after serving as a key volunteer as an Ambassador and local business owner.
