Clemson is truly "in season, every season" with events and celebrations filling the community calendar each month.  Festivals, parades, and seasonal celebrations bring residents and visitors together for endless fun!

Springtime brings glorious weather and an abundance of beautiful blossoms, which serve as a breath-taking backdrop for area festivals.  Residents and visitors mingle among dogwoods and azaleas in full bloom while enjoying arts & crafts, live entertainment, and great food at several spring festivals.

As spring gives way to the long, sunny days of summer, residents and visitors take advantage of the surrounding lakes.  At no other time is this more evident than on the Fourth of July during Clemsonfest.  After a full day of playing on the shores of Lake Hartwell, crowds gather on the banks or lounge in boats anchored nearby as hundreds of fireworks illuminate the night sky.

Autumn brings several festivals celebrating the diverse ethnic and cultural heritage of the area.  Of course, autumn also brings the return of Clemson University students and Tiger football.  The Welcome Back Festival, First Friday Parade, Homecoming, and Tigerama are favorites of Clemson University students and a multitude of loyal fans.

Winter brings a flurry of holiday activities.  The City of Clemson ushers in the holiday spirit with its annual tree lighting and Christmas parade, as do the neighboring communities of Seneca and Central.  Taking a more unique approach, the Town of Pendleton magically transforms into a quaint Victorian village.   Merchants, clad in Victorian outfits, roam the town square selling mistletoe, roasted chestnuts, apple cider, and afternoon tea from push carts.  Throughout the area, homes and businesses are decked with red ribbons and greenery in preparation for holiday tours or other special events.

Fortunately, the warmth and cheer of the holiday season lingers all year long.  No matter what the season, we hope you'll join the fun!
