Education has always been an integral dimension of Clemson.  Thus, it is a fitting location to host lifelong learning seminars, educational symposiums, association workshops, corporate retreats, or reunions.  A variety of conference facilities and hotels are available in the Clemson area to accommodate the needs of any group.  In addition, event planners have easy access to the extensive educational resources of Clemson University, and attendees love the ambiance of our friendly college town and the multitude of recreational opportunities.

The Conference Center and Inn at Clemson University is a premier meeting facility.   Located on the outskirts of the Clemson University campus, the Madren Continuing Education and Conference Center provides 17,000 square feet of meeting space, featuring a tiered auditorium, grand ballroom, executive board room, and plush pre-function space.   Designed and equipped with communication in mind, the center offers worldwide video-conference technology as just one of its many special features.  The adjacent 89-room James F. Martin Inn allows guests to stay on-site and enjoy a championship-level golf course.

Also on Clemson University's campus is Littlejohn Coliseum, which hosts concerts, sporting events, and a variety of other attractions all year long.  This incredible venue offers a unique atmosphere for conferences, weddings, dinners, graduations, dances, and more.  The coliseum can be set to accommodate events ranging from an intimate 1,500 people to a large in-the-round audience of 11,000.  For details and other information, click here to visit their website.

Located in Clemson, both the Holiday Inn and Ramada Inn offer over 150 to 220 rooms or suites and a variety of meeting spaces, including a grand ballroom, smaller meeting rooms, and a full-service restaurant.  Both hotels, as well as most of the others, are conveniently located on Tiger Boulevard (U.S. Highway 123) within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.  The close proximity of several hotels also makes it viable to book rooms in multiple establishments for large conventions.

For team building, nothing can beat the group initiatives and ropes courses at the Clemson University Outdoor Laboratory.  Professionally trained facilitators lead groups and individuals through a series of challenging activities which have been specifically designed to encourage and enhance cooperation, trust, and communication among group members.  The Outdoor Laboratory has a large lodge/banquet hall complete with a fireplace, several smaller meeting rooms, and 20 cabins which can house up to 200 people.
